Sign in. Watch now. In honor of Valentine's Day, Will challenges the Glee Club to find and perform the world's greatest love songs. I truly love Glee since the beginning. It is well written, original, modern and with a very good cast. Season 3 has started well with Blaine going to McKinley, Rory joining the group, Sam coming back and with good conflicts. But the characters Rory, except for his first episode and Sugar, in all episodes were disconnected, the actors are fine, but where do their characters stand?
Rachel's dads react to her engagement; Glee Project winner Samuel Larsen makes his debut. A lot has happened on the show since then, probably since each episode of Glee has more plots than a cemetery. And yeah, somehow they worked some songs in here and there. To kick the episode off, Sugar gave Mr. Yep, and that was the cue for Artie and Rory to start plotting how to get Sugar in the raw.
Are you ready for Christian singing groups, two-timing hobags, and a secret admirer in a gorilla suit? Now, instead of watching contrived drama about high school relationships with the occasional overproduced musical number, we get…err, pretty much exactly the same thing as any typical episode. Schue holds a fundraiser because the writers ran out of storylines before Regionals. In a random moment, Tina also reminds us that she used to have substantial dialogue back when the Glee Club was carolling for money during Christmas fundraisers. Except you, Artie. Your chair keeps moving, so I hid your surprise in the wastebasket. V-Day is my fave day ever!
Season Three follows the Club through the sectional, regional and national show choir competitions, and during nationals they finally take home the winning prize. Harry Shum Jr. Mike Chang and Darren Criss Blaine Anderson were also promoted to the main cast, as their characters were only recurring in Season Two. With the purple pianos scattered around the school, the New Directions have to sing a song if they spot one. With the seniors questioning their futures beyond high school, Rachel and Kurt attempt to find a college in New York after learning that Juilliard does not offer a musical theater program while Finn is lost and confused about his future plans. Some New Directions members prep up for their auditions for specific parts of the music, Rachel wanting the role of Maria and Kurt and Blaine wanting Tony.
It premiered on February 14, and is the Valentine's Day episode. She tells them that she rented Breadstix out for Valentine's Day and is making a party for the Glee Club and other people from the school. In the Choir room, Will declares that they still need money for Regionals to pay for costumes and hairspray. He suggests that they go and sing love songs to couples to raise money, which some members of New Directions are against due to a bad experience of singing in front of classes. Sugar quickly hands him money to pay for it. He declines but New Directions, particularly Kurt, force him take it, refusing to deliver the singing valentines.
Season 3, Episode 13 – Heart, Glee Recap
Hooray for Glee! Except for the parts I totally hated, which were most of the parts without Jeff Goldblum in them. - Whitney Houston 's version of Dolly Parton 's " I Will Always Love You " is performed by Mercedes Amber Riley in the episode, and the completed episode had been delivered to the network and was scheduled to run in three days when Houston died unexpectedly on February 11, ; a dedication to her was added in the episode's end credits.
